</span> </span> <span class="card-operate active"> <span class="edit"> &nbsp; </span> <span class="content"> &nbsp; </span> </span> </span></div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&ldquo;我未來的路該怎么走？&rdquo;這是我大一時常常問自己的問題。剛從高考的后勁中走出來，面對一個意想不到的錄取方向和如同白紙的大學(xué)生活，我開始不斷在未來道路的選擇和實踐中徘徊。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>面對一個相對純粹的海洋生物學(xué)科，在大學(xué)四年專業(yè)知識不斷擴(kuò)充和實習(xí)實踐交錯進(jìn)行的學(xué)習(xí)生涯下，我慢慢看到這個領(lǐng)域不同的發(fā)展方向。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>那時，身邊的同學(xué)都在為保研和考研做準(zhǔn)備，而我，卻深感國內(nèi)的學(xué)術(shù)氛圍和發(fā)展路徑不完全適合我。<span style="color: #0086d1;">關(guān)于我所學(xué)習(xí)的專業(yè)，我一直期待與另一個領(lǐng)域的結(jié)合，如生物醫(yī)學(xué)工程、生物信息學(xué)、可持續(xù)金融、ESG等等</span>，是否有一個更廣闊的平臺，可以讓我在學(xué)術(shù)和職業(yè)上有更多的選擇和挑戰(zhàn)？</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>于是，留學(xué)的念頭悄然萌生。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>放棄實驗室深造選擇留學(xué)</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>說起留學(xué)的決定，回想起來，真正讓我下定決心的契機(jī)，來自一次大二暑期至大三的實驗室經(jīng)歷。在那一整個學(xué)年中，我有幸進(jìn)入了一位非常知名的導(dǎo)師的實驗室，參與了兩項科研項目和一篇論文的完成。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我與實驗室的師兄師姐們進(jìn)行了深入的交流，也切身體會了國內(nèi)研究生的日常生活和具體的項目內(nèi)容。這些寶貴的經(jīng)驗讓我受益匪淺，但實驗室每天充實的日程中，我逐漸發(fā)現(xiàn)自己似乎對與生命科學(xué)相關(guān)的濕實驗的科研意愿并不強(qiáng)烈。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/173700778389969.jpg?watermark/1/image/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbmZvLmNvbXBhc3NlZHUuaGsvd2F0ZXJtYXJrMS5wbmc=/dissolve/100/gravity/SouthEast/dx/0/dy/0/ws/0.25/wst/2" alt="" width="439" height="448" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在這些日子里，我找準(zhǔn)機(jī)會與帶我的教授進(jìn)行深入交流，談到自己對于學(xué)術(shù)未來的困惑時，教授熱心地給予了我建議，他在認(rèn)可我并愿意給予我機(jī)會留在實驗室發(fā)展的同時，也鼓勵我去嘗試更開放的學(xué)術(shù)環(huán)境，甚至為我寫了一篇極為誠懇的推薦信強(qiáng)烈推薦我去申請國外的研究生項目。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>教授的鼓勵和他自身的經(jīng)歷讓我認(rèn)識到，留學(xué)不僅僅是一個學(xué)術(shù)的選擇，更是一個人生的選擇。<span style="color: #0086d1;">在這次交流之后，我決定放棄在本校實驗室深造的機(jī)會，邁出了留學(xué)的第一步。</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>死磕績點和專業(yè)實習(xí)</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>留學(xué)申請并非一帆風(fēng)順。好在我從大一入學(xué)開始就不斷地為準(zhǔn)備留學(xué)而排兵布陣。面對當(dāng)時自身成績不突出，甚至有幾門課程因為基礎(chǔ)不牢而出現(xiàn)掛科和擦線及格的情況，我沒有氣餒，而是堅定選擇重修課程，通過二次學(xué)習(xí)，死磕難點，換來第二次較為順眼的分?jǐn)?shù)，把之前的慘淡覆蓋。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>因為大一的&ldquo;瀟灑&rdquo;，我利用大二和大三整整四個學(xué)期，<span style="color: #0086d1;">基本將大一時的必修課重修了個遍</span>，把那些極難的專業(yè)課提升至80分以上，思政課能提再提，其他專業(yè)課程保持跟進(jìn)，保證每年都有獎學(xué)金的名額。隨著短板逐漸減少，均分也慢慢好看了起來。同時，我也保持了每學(xué)期多個通識課程的學(xué)習(xí)，在這些課程上取得高分也能一定程度上彌補(bǔ)專業(yè)課的不足。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/173700778561378.jpg?watermark/1/image/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbmZvLmNvbXBhc3NlZHUuaGsvd2F0ZXJtYXJrMS5wbmc=/dissolve/100/gravity/SouthEast/dx/0/dy/0/ws/0.25/wst/2" alt="" width="511" height="682" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>考慮到南洋理工大學(xué)的生物醫(yī)學(xué)數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)專業(yè)比較看中計算機(jī)學(xué)科的基礎(chǔ)，我也為此申請了人工智能與數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)廣東省實驗室的實習(xí)，也參加了亞太地區(qū)大學(xué)生數(shù)學(xué)建模競賽和其他建模比賽作為經(jīng)歷補(bǔ)充等等。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>沒有保底！放手一搏新加坡</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>決定留學(xué)之后，我就開始著手準(zhǔn)備申請。由于我本身在廣州長大，對香港地區(qū)實在不太感興趣，而且認(rèn)為英國的就業(yè)環(huán)境逐漸下滑，且之前有過旅游體驗，我將目標(biāo)瞄準(zhǔn)了新加坡。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我申請了新加坡國立大學(xué)（NUS）和南洋理工大學(xué)（NTU），這兩所學(xué)校的排名，學(xué)術(shù)氛圍和實習(xí)機(jī)會讓我很心動。由于地區(qū)限制，我沒法選擇保底學(xué)校，只計劃申請新加坡兩所和帝國理工（IC）。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>申請的過程并不輕松，因為不考慮保底，讓我的申請壓力非常大，尤其是在雅思成績上，我認(rèn)為是我申請過程的最大短板。雅思的首考在大三下學(xué)期，第一次考試只考了6分，聽力和口語的爆雷讓我心情十分低落。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/173700778636916.jpg?watermark/1/image/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbmZvLmNvbXBhc3NlZHUuaGsvd2F0ZXJtYXJrMS5wbmc=/dissolve/100/gravity/SouthEast/dx/0/dy/0/ws/0.25/wst/2" alt="" width="387" height="516" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>然而，看到上屆學(xué)長相同語言的成功申請案例，給我留下了一絲僥幸心態(tài)。很快，新國立的提前批申請在暑假到來，我天真的認(rèn)為在與直系學(xué)長的背景同類比較中，我能夠穩(wěn)穩(wěn)拿到生物技術(shù)和生物多樣性保護(hù)的offer，<span style="color: #0086d1;">但是提前批的結(jié)果給了我&ldquo;當(dāng)頭一棒&rdquo;</span>。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在復(fù)盤時，申請老師對比了一些本校本屆成功案例，認(rèn)為是雅思分?jǐn)?shù)拖了后腿。盡管我給NUS招生辦打了電話，得到不需要刷分和再等等的確切信息后，還是決定在十月中旬開啟第二輪的雅思備考。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但是第二次認(rèn)真努力的結(jié)果卻是聽力和口語的二次爆雷，我在平時練習(xí)都從未出現(xiàn)過的低分卻在印在了正式成績單上，那段時間確實無比焦慮，在拿到成績后的第一時間進(jìn)行了復(fù)議。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>終于等到NUS開獎</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在還沒緩過來，重新投入屠雅狀態(tài)之前，11月22日悄然到來了&mdash;&mdash;那是新國立設(shè)計與工程學(xué)院第一批offer的開獎時間。我記得在那一天，我?guī)缀趺扛羰昼姸家卿浺淮喂倬W(wǎng)，查詢申請狀態(tài)，無一例外都是Submitted，社交媒體上大家的狀態(tài)也都沒有任何動靜。<span style="color: #0086d1;">下午四點，在我以為今天又要沒有動靜而結(jié)束的時候，微信突然傳來了舍友的提醒&ldquo;工學(xué)院開獎了！&rdquo;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block;
