“美國歷史、文化和社會”碩士學(xué)位課程是一個以研究為導(dǎo)向、高度靈活的學(xué)習(xí)項目。它提供美國和加拿大歷史、社會、文化、文學(xué)、經(jīng)濟和政治方面的先進知識，并鼓勵學(xué)生發(fā)展和追求個人的研究興趣。為了完成120學(xué)分的課程，前三個學(xué)期必須學(xué)習(xí)六個模塊。第四學(xué)期專門寫碩士論文。該項目的教師在歷史、文學(xué)、媒體和視覺文化、大眾文化、性別、種族和民族、技術(shù)和文化理論等領(lǐng)域具有特別強的研究資格。鼓勵發(fā)展研究項目的學(xué)生將其置于跨大西洋、跨國或全球的框架中，并采用比較或跨學(xué)科的方法。該課程包括兩個基本模塊：“歷史與政治”和“文化、媒體與社會”。學(xué)生可以專攻其中一個領(lǐng)域，也可以將它們結(jié)合起來。
申請要求
"1. A writing sample in English or German from the previous study program on a topic related to the USA or Canada (not more than 5 pages).
2. A research-oriented essay in English on either one of the two following topics:
NEW TOPICS WILL BE POSTED IN 2021.
NEW TOPICS WILL BE POSTED IN 2021.
The essay should not be longer than five pages (2000 words). It should not be an overview or summary, but an argumentative essay. It must include five secondary sources; only one of which may be a web-based source.
The selection committee will review all applications. After the final decisions have been made, all applicants will be informed. All international students should please pay attention to the special information below."
