<p>另一方面，國內(nèi)的保研政策除了對成績的要求外，還對課程選修有嚴(yán)格限制，而我們學(xué)校對于保研有一系列專門的&ldquo;必修課程&rdquo;作為考核指標(biāo)，其中<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>包括幾門公認(rèn)極難拿高分的專業(yè)核心課</strong></span>。許多學(xué)長學(xué)姐都曾因這些課程拉低績點(diǎn)，從而遺憾錯失保研資格。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我一度嘗試兩者兼顧，希望在準(zhǔn)備出國材料的同時繼續(xù)保留保研的可能性。然而現(xiàn)實(shí)并不理想：如果我選擇了保研方向的課程，一旦成績不理想，不僅保研落空，申請國外學(xué)校的GPA也會受影響。而為了保住GPA去海外申請，又必須避免高風(fēng)險(xiǎn)課程的影響。<span style="color: <p>時間成本是影響我最終決定出國的另一個重要因素。相比于國內(nèi)保研后還需讀研三年，國外大多數(shù)授課型碩士項(xiàng)目時間更短，這意味著我可以更早步入社會，更早開始進(jìn)行職業(yè)積累。這個時間差，在如今競爭日益激烈的就業(yè)環(huán)境中，是我不得不考慮的現(xiàn)實(shí)問題。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>如果說選擇留學(xué)是我人生的第一個重要轉(zhuǎn)折，那么攻克語言關(guān)則是我必須跨越的第一道天塹。作為一個&ldquo;啞巴英語&rdquo;學(xué)習(xí)者，我的英語基礎(chǔ)薄弱得超乎想象。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但我從來沒有放棄英語，從大一開始，我一直在堅(jiān)持背單詞，也在堅(jiān)持練習(xí)聽力，然而從我備考雅思開始，過往的努力好像一場笑話。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>然而，現(xiàn)實(shí)卻一次次給我潑冷水&mdash;&mdash;第一次雅思考試，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>我的總分只有6.0</strong></span>，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>聽力單項(xiàng)更是慘不忍睹的5.5</strong></span>。雖然也在意料之中，但是很難過，我不明白，為什么在學(xué)習(xí)這件事上努力得不到回報(bào)。那些日夜顛倒的努力，那些推掉的聚會和旅行，那些在圖書館待到閉館的夜晚，似乎都成了徒勞。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>緊接著是緊張的期末周和隨之而來的寒假實(shí)習(xí)，我不得不抽空學(xué)習(xí)英語，在早高峰擁擠的地鐵上，我在背單詞，在中午休息的間歇時間里面練習(xí)聽力，晚上回家聯(lián)系閱讀和口語，在無數(shù)個焦慮的夜晚，我依然會懷疑自己決定的正確性。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>可是考試結(jié)果依然不好。我好像得了一種病&mdash;&mdash;看到雅思就反胃的病，生理性排斥讓我完全不想繼續(xù)練習(xí)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>&ldquo;要不先試試GRE？詞匯量上去了，雅思閱讀自然會順。&rdquo;</strong></span>指南者的老師及時拉了我一把。對我來說，GRE考試要友好很多，因?yàn)闆]有聽力和口語，然而大量的長難句還是令人崩潰，大量的陌生單詞讓我焦頭爛額。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>老師們給我整理了GRE高頻詞表，甚至按&ldquo;高頻核心-低頻拓展&rdquo;分類，讓我每天背100個新單詞時更有方向。我堅(jiān)持著每天100個新單詞，日復(fù)一日的累加到后來日復(fù)習(xí)單詞量達(dá)到上千。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>就在我以為一切都在向好的方向發(fā)展時，命運(yùn)又和我開了一個玩笑。GRE第一次考試分?jǐn)?shù)是318，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>距離我需要的320分僅僅只差2分，</strong></span>我看到了希望的曙光，我馬不停蹄的報(bào)名了第二次考試，覺得我一定可以順利通過，然而天不隨人愿，<span <p>可是我轉(zhuǎn)而又想，GRE這么難我都備考這么久了，這次雅思一定會更好吧，結(jié)果是我拿到了一個從來沒見過的差成績，我看到成績那一刻，腦子里空蕩蕩的，呆坐了一下午，又不得不重新振作精神再次開始。日子還是在繼續(xù)，只是錯過了提前批而已，我想，好像其實(shí)也沒有什么大不了，繼續(xù)報(bào)名一周后的考試，但在這一周我擺爛了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>指南者老師得知我的困境后，沒有只是安慰，而是幫我列了PlanB：&ldquo;<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>UCL有些項(xiàng)目接受雅思6.5，我們可以調(diào)整選校清單，把重心放在英國</strong></span>。&rdquo;她連夜幫我核對了5所院校的語言要求，甚至標(biāo)注了&ldquo;可后補(bǔ)成績&rdquo;的項(xiàng)目。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>&ldquo;你已經(jīng)走了99步，差的不是能力，是一點(diǎn)運(yùn)氣。&rdquo;</strong></span>這句話讓我沒在最黑暗的時候放棄。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>一次又一次備考過程中，我逐漸接受了英語薄弱的現(xiàn)實(shí)，也一步步與自己和解，到現(xiàn)在我終于可以坦然說出這段黑暗的備考經(jīng)歷，是我不努力嗎？我覺得不是，媽媽說我總是差點(diǎn)運(yùn)氣?；蛟S吧，好在最終的錄取結(jié)果不差。</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>縱有遺憾也要繼續(xù)向前</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>遞交申請后，等待成了新的煎熬。我無數(shù)次問媽媽，要是我沒學(xué)上了怎么辦？媽媽也只能安慰我，然后和我一起焦急等待。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>最先到來的是<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>布里斯托</strong></span>的offer，凌晨一點(diǎn)，我盯著那封郵件看了很久，腦子一熱發(fā)給了所有親友，收到了無數(shù)的夸贊和祝福，可是我好像并沒有什么高興的情緒，像是意料之中的結(jié)果，不驚喜，但是終歸有了著落。</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; #0086d1;"><strong>倫敦大學(xué)學(xué)院</strong></span>，在一個初醒的清晨，這一次除了父母和中介老師，我沒有告訴任何人，這次是真的一點(diǎn)波瀾都沒有了，連報(bào)喜都帶著一點(diǎn)機(jī)械的情緒。然后是<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>曼徹斯特大學(xué)和香港城市大學(xué)</strong></span>，我平靜的拿下offer，然后執(zhí)著的等待著其他港校的消息，卻遲遲沒有結(jié)果。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>后面的很多個月，我都沒有收到一點(diǎn)消息，我從最初的不停在小紅書上刷有關(guān)的消息，到后面完全不關(guān)注有關(guān)香港的消息，就在時間的推移中，慢慢地接受了去倫敦大學(xué)學(xué)院的結(jié)果，留學(xué)申請這段時間里，教會我的是與自己和解，是學(xué)會放棄。我想或許是我還是不夠堅(jiān)定，是我沒有足夠的勇氣去繼續(xù)承受那些壓力，不過這就是我啊，人生總是要接受失敗的。</p> width="408" height="717" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>特別值得一提的是，指南者老師始終陪在我的身邊，為我提供幫助。在我遇到問題的時，永遠(yuǎn)會第一時間為我答疑解惑，在我為未來迷茫焦慮時，也會及時開導(dǎo)我，他們都是我堅(jiān)實(shí)有力的后盾。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>最讓我動容的是，申請季結(jié)束后閑聊時，彭老師才笑著說：<strong>&ldquo;那段時間總?cè)ノ氖庠?，求菩薩保佑你們都能拿到offer。&rdquo;</strong>原來那些我以為的&ldquo;運(yùn)氣&rdquo;，背后是他們藏在細(xì)節(jié)里的用心，我始終會被這種赤誠所打動。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>拿到UCL、布里斯托、曼大等一堆Offer時，我仍覺得自己&ldquo;不夠好&rdquo;，在很長的一段時間里，我都覺得自己是一個失敗的人，在大學(xué)四年里，我好像一事無成&mdash;&mdash;畢竟沒拿到最初執(zhí)念的NUS。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>是指南者的老師翻出我的申請記錄：&ldquo;你看，GRE四連敗還能堅(jiān)持考，雅思從5.5提到6.5，這不是所有人都能做到的。&rdquo;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我身邊的很多朋友也為我的申請結(jié)果贊嘆，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>&ldquo;你拿到了英國大滿貫哎&rdquo;</strong></span>，<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>&ldquo;你真的很厲害&rdquo;</strong></span>，在做經(jīng)驗(yàn)分享時會有學(xué)弟學(xué)妹調(diào)侃地問我，<span style="color: <p>回想整個申請季，其實(shí)有很多遺憾，但是要說遺憾什么，我卻又說不出，每一個選擇都是我自己做的。整理申請材料時，還能看到指南者老師標(biāo)注的便簽：&ldquo;這里可以加實(shí)習(xí)數(shù)據(jù)&rdquo;&ldquo;這個獎項(xiàng)要突出含金量&rdquo;。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
