TOEFL
An applicant whose native language is other than English must score at least 550 (paper-based TOEFL) or 213 (computer-based TOEFL) or 80 (internet-based TOEFL).
GRE
A combined verbal and quantitative scores of GRE as follows: 1000 (New GRE: 300), and 1100 (New GRE: 315) for Master's and Ph.D. degree applicants, respectively

GPA
The students must also have an overall undergraduate GPA no less than 3.2, and a GPA no less than 3.5 for all CE prefix courses at the time they apply for admission to the program.
Fee
Domestic applicants (U.S. citizens or resident aliens) must pay a $65 application fee; international applicants must pay a $75 fee.
RL
Applicants who are not a graduate of the University of Kentucky are required to submit three letters of recommendation from their former professors and/or employers. The format of these letters should follow a regular business letter format.
Transcript
Two complete sets of official transcripts from all institutions of higher learning previously attended (including the University of Kentucky), sent directly from the issuing offices to the Graduate School Admissions Office (106 Gillis Building, Lexington, KY 40506-0033). Sending the original application materials directly to the CE Department will only delay the admission process.
