PS Personal Statement (600 words). The essay allows you, within a limited length, to explain your goals and reasons for seeking to pursue a degree in communication. Clear writing, concrete illustrations, and deep knowledge of the program and department faculty can distinguish your statement from others. GPA At least 3.00/4.00 for the final 60 semester hours (90 quarter hours) of undergraduate study. CV Résumé (1–2 pages) is required. Fee A non-refundable application fee of $70 (U.S. currency) is required to have your application reviewed. RL Three letters of recommendation, each with an accompanying RATING FORM. (M.A. – preferably two from professors; Ph.D. – preferably from professors.) NOTE: The top half of the RATING FORM is completed by the applicant, then sent to each recommender. Each recommender completes the bottom half of the Rating Form. Applicant must inform each recommender to save the letter of recommendation and the Rating Form together and upload as a "single document." Transcript Transcripts (upload only) – DO NOT mail hard copies to Communication.
